AA#3807 - Leadership and Learning: Implementing a Change Process

Register

School and district improvement requires more than new initiatives—it requires understanding how change works and how to support the people involved. This academy helps administrators examine key change theories and apply them to real school and district efforts, while exploring Knowles' adult learning theory and its impact on effective professional learning.
Participants use practical tools to assess, monitor, and adjust implementation. By connecting theory to practice, they strengthen their ability to lead intentional, people-centered, and sustainable change.

Once all components of the Academy are completed, the Kane County ROE will process the Academy within 30 days and the participant will receive an email once the processing is completed. Participants of the online Administrator Academy must have all requirements completed by June 15, 2026, allowing time for review and processing with ISBE, in order for them to receive their annual Administrator Academy credit for the 2025-2026 school year. All academies completed after June 15, 2026 will be awarded to the following 2026-2027 school year.
