Participants will identify components of their Section 504 procedures as it relates to the eligibility
process, evaluation, reevaluation, and the format for the development of a Section 504 Plan; evaluate eligibility for Section 504, especially as it relates to parental requests for Section 504 as a learning loss tool; analyze the current case law trends as it relates to Section 504 eligibility, accommodations, and modifications; and synthesize the differences between a Section 504 Plan and an IEP, with a focus on the components of each.
