This academy is designed to take instructional leaders and engaging teachers through the detailed
process of engaging in effective feedback- a cycle which is co-created by the facilitator and the learner.
Learning outcomes will include: Distinguishing between traditional feedback and feedback for learning,
Communicating the rationale for feedback for learning, Identifying types of feedback, including
misconceptions regarding the feedback process and ways to dispel them systematically, Applying the
feedback process, Generating ways to use this content to advance my own and my team/department/grade level use of learning feedback. Data shows the significance that teacher clarity and student clarity have on learning (Hattie, 2017). This academy focuses on the feedback cycles and will attendees will leave with an application project specific to their professional role.
