How do you create meaningful learning experiences for your students in the classroom that will prepare them for the jobs of tomorrow? How do you engage your students while meeting national and state standards? Playful learning experiences and hands-on, minds-on approaches are proven to capture students' attention and spark curiosity. This session will demonstrate different approaches educators can take in order integrate hands-on manipulatives to teach core competencies in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Using the element of play, students learn the value of teamwork, collaboration and creative problem-solving, which unlocks their potential, and enables them to shape their own futures and become meaningful contributors to society.
