Writing from Reading: Response Modes That Motivate

This workshop for English/Language Arts teachers in grades 3-12 will provide a deep dive into writing as an effective and motivational response mode to text that has been read by students or delivered to students. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a wide array of writing modes and response models that will allow them to return to the classroom with exciting writing experiences they can't wait to provide for their students. Additionally, we will discuss management and assessment in terms of the volume of writing produced when large numbers of students are preparing written responses to text.
