This workshop provides teachers with hands-on training in Computer Science ("CS") education. No prior experience in computing is required. Topics covered include computational thinking, a CS word wall, classroom strategies, programming with kids, and lots of "unplugged" classroom activities ready for immediate adoption. Attendees receive free curriculum guides and bling bags from Code.org. Among other take-aways, you will learn that yes! you can teach Computer Science. Lunch Provided. Fee of $20.
